Born in 1977 in Sremska Mitrovica, where he finished the “Ivo Lola Ribar” Gymnasium. In 2000, he graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad. He was a Parliament Member from 2004 to 2008, after which he serves two mandates as an elected Mayor of Sremska Mitrovica until 2016. Since August 2016 he was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection. Since June 2017, he is the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. He is married and a father of two.
