The best sommelier of Balkans / Podrum Wine art restaurant manager

Vuk Vuletić was born in Belgrade in 1991, but he spent his childhood in Inđija. Visits to Italy inspired him to study Gastronomy at the University of Novi Sad. He has always been interested in wine, and he fell in love with it during the Serbian sommelier association`s professional course in Belgrade.

He started his profesional career in the Steak & Wine bar, where he had Serbian Sommelier Association’s president as his mentor and manager, which later led him to move the Square Nine hotel, where he worked with wines from all over the world. Currently, he works as a manager in the Podrum Novi Wine Art restaurant in Belgrade with one of the best wine lists in Serbia.

Vuk is also a fan of Habanos, hand rolled Cuban cigars, and he won third place at Habanos World Challenge 2018. By winning the National Sommelier Competition in Belgrade in November 2017 and the Balkan Sommelier Challenge in 2018, he had the opportunity to represent his country at the ASI Best Sommelier of the World Competition in Antwerp in 2019, where he got through to the semifinals and ranked 19th out of 66 competitors.
