Vesna Raca was born on August 7, 1960 in Topola.

She has graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade.

Before taking the position of assistant director at the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia in 2008, she gained rich experience in the private sector. She has perfected herself in the fields of graphic and publishing businesses. She performed a duty of the vice director of Politika Inc. and was also an editor of the economic monthly magazine EU market.

She was a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a Member of the City Council at the Assembly of the City of Belgrade in charge of urbanism and property laws.
