Success for Second Belgrade Food Show 2019
The international exhibition and conference Belgrade Food Show 2019 was an unique opportunity to present high quality local food – “specialty food“ – food known for quality, tradition and innovation, to the general public in the country and the region.
The second Belgrade Food Show was held at BELEXPOCENTR on 10-11. October and gathered the most beautiful flavours from selected producers of fruits, vegetables, local food, beverages and specialties from Serbia and the region, together with major international buyers and distributors.
The event provided an excellent overview of the potential of the high-quality food market in Serbia and the Western Balkans, with an opportunity for visitors to experience a fusion of fresh and creative ideas with the strong tradition in this industry, in addition to exploring the best that the region has to offer. As a unique international event, Belgrade Food Show created the conditions for new business opportunities, exchange of contacts, acquisition of new knowledge and exchange of experience.
As many as 115 high-quality food producers successfully presented their products to visitors, received compliments and suggestions and exchanged experiences among themselves. They brought new knowledge from the conference part of the show which will help them do business and appear in the markets of the country, region and beyond with even more success.
For two days, more than 750 conference attendees listened to 67 local and foreign experts and producers who spoke about opportunities for Serbian food, innovations and market trends, paths to success, customer expectations and premium brands, while more than 1,300 people had the opportunity to test unusual tastes and learn about innovative products.
We are especially proud of more than 200 meetings between manufacturers, buyers and distributors from all over the world, which were of great importance for manufacturers to win new markets.
